Sourcing Suitable Wiping Materials

Before we start with our detection process, SafeRag® purchases premium absorbent cloth materials that would otherwise go to waste and end up in a landfill. We believe that the recycling of used material can have a massive impact on the footprint left on this earth while simultaneously running a sustainable business.

Identification & Removal of Metal

After years of research and testing, the SafeRag® system has been designed and built to automatically detect and reject dangerous metal objects such as pins, razors, and syringe needles that may be present amongst used clothing. All our cut cloths also have their buttons and zips removed, leaving only the material behind.
With an extremely high level of accuracy and reliability, our metal free SafeRag® systems removes every type of metal identified during our process. Simply put, not many metal free detection systems can offer the standards that SafeRag® demands.
